Jackie Fraser – Retirement Home Manager

Caressant Care Marmora Retirement Home is located just south of Highway #7 in the historic mining village of Marmora, Ontario in the middle of Comfort County. Nearby Crowe River and Lake offer unique opportunities for recreational activities in both summer and winter seasons.

Our caring and compassionate staff provide 24 hour support and promote an independent lifestyle in a Home we are proud of. We emphasize nutritious, home-cooked meals, activity programming and entertainment, exercise and in-house physiotherapy support. For those who are unable or unwilling to travel for medical care Central Hastings Family Health Team provides support. A Team Nurse Practitioner visits weekly to provide medical care. She is backed by a physician from the Family Health Team who will visit, assess and order medications and treatments that are beyond the scope of the Nurse Practitioner.

Caressant Care Marmora Retirement Home offers retirement living in a single storey setting. The large, comfortably furnished lounge offers the perfect place to relax and to visit with family and friends. When you feel the need for privacy you can retire to your own personal space. Both semi private and private rooms are available at affordable prices. Rooms can come completely furnished or you can bring your own furnishings to personalize your room. Couples are always welcomed.

Retirement Home living means you have the time to focus on your own lifestyle and interests without the responsibility of a house or apartment. Weekly church services are available in house, and the village offers churches of five denominations as well as shops and services within walking distance. For those who drive, parking is available at no extra charge.

The caring and knowledgeable staff at Caressant Care Marmora Retirement Home welcome telephone inquiries and walk-in visits. Tours can be arranged at any time, including weekends. Moving to a Retirement Home is an excellent opportunity to rekindle old friendships and make new friends. We welcome you to join the Caressant Care family in this lovely and unique setting.
