Foot care is provided by VON for a set fee. We have a physiotherapist on-site twice weekly and exercises are carried out by our Restorative Care Team 7 days a week.<\/p><p><span data-redactor-class=\"NormalTextRun SCX194493403\">Our Medical Advisor, Dr. Cowing, visits on a weekly basis. The\u00a0<\/span><span data-redactor-class=\"SpellingError SCX194493403\">Tavistock<\/span>\u00a0Family Health Network is on call 24 hours day if medical attention is required after hours. All blood work ordered by physicians is done weekly by &#8220;Life Labs&#8221; right in the Home.<\/p><p>A full range of stimulating, enjoyable activities are offered on a daily basis. We have spiritual church services every Sunday afternoon with all denominations participating (provided by the Tavistock Ministerium).<\/p><p>Our kitchen staff prepares our delicious meals on site in our kitchen located just off the dining room. We use only fresh quality ingredients and all diets are under supervision of our Corporate Registered Dietition and Food and Nutrition Manager. Specialty diets (such as diabetic, pureed, etc.) are accommodated as ordered by a physician. <strong>All our resident rooms now have air Tavistock and is adjacent to our Long Term Care Home.<\/b><\/h5>\n<p>Our staff members prepare delicious meals in our kitchen located just off the Dining Room. All of our baked goods are made on site and we only use fresh, quality ingredients. Our beef roasts and sausage are purchased locally from Mogk&#8217;s Butcher Shop, well-known across the area for its quality.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal at The Maples is to provide quality care and service, but most of all we want our residents to be happy. We strive for a home-like atmosphere and our trained staff goes out of their way to ensure each resident feels like an important part of our family.<\/p>\n<p>We offer various accommodations: semi-private, private or deluxe private.
