Nearly 50 years later, we have grown to 15 long term care homes and 10 adjoined retirement homes, serving over 1,500 residents.<\/strong><\/span><\/h5><p>Our homes are located predominantly in smaller communities throughout Ontario and these small-town values inform our work everyday. For us, this means creating tight-knit communities where everyone knows and looks out for one another. Many residents are friends, neighbours and even family members of our staff. On behalf of our residents and staff in our 15 communities, welcome!<\/p><p>Caressant Care started in 1975 with a single 60-bed long term care home in Woodstock, Ontario. Over the years, we have grown and now have 15 long term care homes and 10 adjoined retirement homes. We\u2019re located primarily in small towns across Ontario from St. Thomas to Bourget.<\/p><p>We try to infuse these small town values into each of our homes and we strive to maintain tight-knit communities where everyone looks out for one another. We create caring, cozy and comfortable environments that residents feel happy to call home.<\/p><p>Making the decision to move into a retirement or long term care home is not an easy one for everyone\u2014we get it, and we\u2019re here to make that transition as easy as possible. When the time comes for you or your loved one to make that move you\u2019ll have questions, and we hope our website will help provide some answers. We always recommend taking a tour of a home to get an idea if it\u2019s right for you.<\/p><p>Our aim is to always provide the best care that we can for every resident in our homes. To do that, we\u2019re active participants in the seniors\u2019 care community, sharing knowledge and experiences.
