Meet a real life hero!
Caressant Care Bourget is located in the picturesque County of Clarence-Rockland (in the Ottawa Valley) in a small town surrounded by rolling farm land with glimpses of small lakes and rivers. Caressant Care Bourget offers true French Canadian hospitality to residents and family alike, with many staff members fluent in both English and French. One of the unique features of our Home is an outside enclosed area with a charming gazebo and beautiful flower gardens that are accessible to all Residents. Our Home is indeed a "home away from home."
All resident rooms will have air conditioning by end of October 2022, as these are special order units as approved by the Ministry of Long Term Care.
Caressant Care Bourget Nursing Home is actively involved in its community: partnerships with local schools (French and English), sponsorships of local tournaments and Volunteer Fire Department, contributions to the needy of the community and assistance to the community in times of disaster (the '98 Ice Storm).
Our activity and recreational programs are adjusted to meet the needs and desires of our residents. Annual events include Residents' Christmas Party, corn roasts, apple picking, fishing trips and picnics, sleigh rides and outings to a sugar shack. We are also proud of our Physiotherapy Program which is operated in conjunction with a contracted provider. It is available for all residents to strengthen their body mass resulting in more independence and a better quality of life.
