Welcome to Caressant Care Marmora. We are nestled along Highway #7 in the Heart of Hastings County. Marmora is a quiet and peaceful area that offers an array of activities along the local lakes and rivers and ongoing festivities in the neighbouring communities of Havelock, Madoc and Stirling.
Caressant Care Marmora is a single storey nursing home with 84 accredited nursing home beds including semi private and private accommodation. In addition, we offer 24 hour RN coverage and a physician on call 24/7 to meet our resident's needs. We are pleased to provide a Restorative Care Program that promotes independence with personal care to restore or maintain current level of functioning.
A registered dietitian is on staff to ensure all resident's nutritional needs are met while providing 3 meals per day. Individualized physiotherapy services are offered to each resident at no additional cost. Our activity mandate is to provide resident activities based on one's spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional and social interests. Families are welcome to attend.
Caressant Care Marmora is pleased to support a Resident's Council that encourages participation in decision making as it affects resident day to day activities in the home, while ensuring a safe environment.
We consistently maintain a high standard of holistic care to adults, primarily the elderly, in a clean, comfortable and homelike environment.
All our Resident rooms now have air conditioning.
