On Wednesday February 27th the staff at Cambridge Country Manor participated in an anti-bullying event along with Canadians coast to coast. Some of the staff at Cambridge Country Manor participated by wearing t-shirts with the slogan "Kindness is One Size Fits all" printed on brightly colored pink t-shirts, while others participated by wearing a pink shirt of their choice.
The campaign originated in 2007 in response to an event that occurred in Nova Scotia where two teenagers encouraged fellow classmates to wear pink t-shirts in support of a bullying victim.
Anti-bullying day is now recognized globally, although it may not fall on the same day.
Thanks to Associate Director of Care Bryn for taking the initiative. Well done Cambridge Country Manor!
