Caressant Care Lindsay is located in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes with its award winning parklands, the Trent Severn Waterway, and Flato Academy Theatre.

Our family-like relationships between our staff and our residents is easily recognized and something we take great pride in.

Caressant Care Lindsay welcomes and encourages family participation in its many Activity Programs with special events such as our annual trip to the Lindsay Fall Fair, Fall Colour Boat Cruise, Resident and Family Christmas Service and Party, Sweetheart Luncheon and many more special events and entertainment.

Caressant Care Lindsay is a 124-bed long term care home committed to the development of strong community linkages with agencies such as Home and Community Care, Ontario Shores Mental Health, Centric Health, Ross Memorial Hospital and Kawartha Lakes Hospice.

Our dedicated employees and volunteers are committed in providing a high level of quality care and support to the Residents and their family members.

We provide continuing training for employees and have used Sir Sandford Fleming College as an important resource for students to gain clinical experience in the Long Term Care field. All Resident rooms have air conditioning.

Retirement Home Information

Caressant Care Lindsay is well recognized in the community for it’s commitment to resident care, and has been voted Lindsay’s favourite Retirement Home in the local paper.

Caressant Care Lindsay welcomes and encourages family participation in its activity program with events like the Resident and Employee Christmas party, trips to activities such as the annual Resident Olympics and Lindsay Fall Fair. Relax in our newly decorated resident lounge with a fireplace, pool table and shuffleboard table.

We offer 24-hour staffing, resident parking, laundry services and light housekeeping, all of which are included in out low all-inclusive rates. Enjoy home-cooked meals served in our dining room, and an on-site hairdresser is available for those interested.
