Caressant Care Fergus is located in the picturesque town of Fergus, Ontario. We are just minutes away from the downtown core that is home to a number of boutiques, specialty shops and coffee shops. Our guests can also enjoy leisurely strolls in the park and tree sanctuary overlooking the Grand River, located directly in front of our Home.
Our mission is to provide a Home for our residents that will enhance their lives by creating a calm, relaxing and inviting atmosphere. We believe that each resident is an individual and deserves to have the best of care while maintaining their independence. Our staff is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds the expectations of our residents and their families.
While an attending physician is available, residents have the option of keeping their own doctor. Our Restorative Care Program promotes independence with bathing, eating, and other day to day activities. We also provide enjoyable activities on a daily basis and a calendar of what’s coming up is available.
Our residents enjoy 3 home-cooked meals daily and special food needs are addressed by a Registered Dietitian. Healthy snacks are also provided. All resident rooms have air conditioning.
LifeMark Physio is proud to offer services to the residents of Caressant Care. Our new residents are assessed by a Registered Physiotherapist and those who require treatment are provided with a plan that is carried out by qualified physiotherapy assistants. We also offer dental and foot care clinics for a fee, and our salon is open twice weekly with services available at a reasonable cost.

Residents are welcome to socialize together or entertain guests in our two lounges or relax quietly in our library area. The patio and grounds are popular settings for leisure time or gathering with friends. These common areas are also used for entertainment, barbeques and a number of stimulating activities.
