Our home provides a warm and caring place for residents in the retirement and long term care homes respectively. Residents can also take part in large group activities, joining both homes together.
Residents have 24/7 access to our incredible staff and amenities including a spacious sun room and outdoor seating for the summer months. Friends and family are encouraged to visit the home and spend time with their love ones in the home.
Our rooms are spacious with large windows and ensuite bathrooms. Our rooms do come fully furnished, but residents are encouraged to personalize their space with pictures and other familiar items. We have a beautiful sun room which is enjoyed by residents all year round, and we have outdoor sitting areas for use in good weather. Our indoor lounges are equipped with cable television and there is a computer for resident use.
Our home has an active Resident’s Council and a wide variety of recreational programs. We have an incredible hand-bell choir who practice weekly and a large group of dedicated volunteers work with residents to enhance their quality of life in many ways.
In addition to nursing and medical care, our residents have access to on-site physiotherapy, a dietitian, and pharmacist as well as other visiting health care professionals. All our Resident rooms now have air conditioning.

You will notice from the moment you enter our home that it has a family-like atmosphere. With only 60 beds our staff can really get to know our residents and provide that extra level of care.
We have three different types of accommodations available; semi private, private and deluxe private. Our all-inclusive rates include meals and snacks, laundry, housekeeping, medication administration/monitoring and most in house activities.
Our nutritious meals are served in our bright dining room, we serve a hearty breakfast with residents are given their choice of entree for lunch and supper. We also offer self-serve snacks throughout the day.
Our Activity Assistant offers a variety of planned activities and you also have the option to participate in large group activities in the Nursing home if you wish. Having a family gathering? You can reserve our “Blue Lounge” for entertaining family and friends. We provide the coffee and tea!
The decision to move to a retirement home can be a very difficult one, but the dedicated staff at Bonnie Place will do everything possible to help with the transition.
